Blogging that which was blogged
July 13th, 2007 by deanSo, if you don’t read Cosmic Variance, you probably haven’t seen this fun with curve fitting.
I keep meaning to write a post analyzing one of SecureCare’s posts in a bit more depth, seeing as I have potentially easier access to the literature; especially since the science feeds often either get things wrong or fail to address the most interesting (duh, do I have to say “from my point of view?”) aspects.

Actually I ran across that “laffer” at Political Animal earlier today
These people, obviously, never give up on their crusade for “Voodoo Economics” (hat tip to Geo H. W. Bush for that one…)
And I`ll look forward to your additions/corrections to posts on the biorevolution…

Not sure if I like Cosmic Variance, but I added it to the Art links. I think it really depends on the government whether increased taxes actually result in increased tax revenue. Seattle and the State of Washington seem to be expert at making increased taxes return nothing.

So, in a republic, if “it depends on the government,” it ultimately depends on “the people.”
Now, now, I’m not saying we’re living in a republic here. Just because I don’t do my civic part doesn’t mean I don’t have the right to whine. Maybe no justification, though.
